While New Yorkers are complaining about the frigid weather, seals apparently are loving it.
Eagle-eyed New Yorkers/New Jerseyans found a young harp seal hanging out on ice in the New Jersey side of the Hudson River on Monday. The seal was resting on the frozen portion of the river near the Old Binghamton Boat House in Edgewater, New Jersey.
Eyewitness News tweeted out a video of the seal in action:

Megan Viscovich, who works around the area, took a photo of the seal just lounging around:
Normally harp seals live in the Arctic Ocean, but there have been sightings of them in the Atlantic Ocean. It is not known how the seal got to its location.
