Bruno Mars to Join Coldplay and Beyonce at Super Bowl Show – Report
Bruno Mars will reportedly join Coldplay and Beyonce at this year’s Super Bowl half-time show. The “Gorilla” singer, who headlined the gig two years ago, has been linked to Sunday’s spectacular, but there has been no confirmation.
However, in a behind-the-scenes rehearsal clip, posted online by bosses at CBS – the network airing this year’s game – Coldplay star Chris Martin hints at another special guest. Kneeling on the stage and pretending to be an expert tracker, the Brit said, “This may be Beyonce’s footprint. I’d say she was here about four hours ago. Let’s look for a Bruno one.” Ironically, Mars was the first name thrown up by media outlets when speculation about the Super Bowl headliner began last year. Meanwhile, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Metallica, Pharrell Williams, and Skrillex will all appear at parties and events surrounding the Super Bowl. Alicia Keys, OneRepublic, Fall Out Boy, Dave Matthews Band, Nick Jonas, and the Band Perry will perform at concerts leading up to the event in Santa Clara, California, and Avicii, Elle King and Travis Scott will perform at a Rolling Stone magazine party on the eve of the kick-off.
