During the pregnancy, parents Charlie and Hayley Lampshire were horrified to discover that their unborn sons were in grave danger. The boys were sharing one amniotic sac, meaning that if they moved, their umbilical cords could become entwined, starving them or even strangling one another to death.

Staying still was the only way the boys could stay safe.

However, during a scan, the parents saw that the two boys were not only keeping still — they were seen cuddling each other.

The boys were born by cesarean section on August 25th at just four pounds each, but they still haven’t let each other go.

“So far they have been good at sharing, after all it saved their lives,” mother Hayley Lampshire said in an interview with The Daily Mirror. “But I’m sure it will be a different story when they get older.”
