Chewy the Alpaca Takes the Internet by Storm

They say a dog is a man’s best friend, but for one boy in Australia, there’s nothing better than his alpaca.

When 13-year old Matt was unable to get a dog, he settled on an alpaca (think of it as a smaller Llama). Instead of playing fetch, Matt and Chewy ride skateboards together, surf, play the drums, and just hang out. Chewy was the runt of the litter, but he’s taking the Internet and social media by storm.

Not only is Chewy enjoying the good life, Chewy also has a very active Instagram account (@Chew_Paca) with over 4,500 followers that shows the little guy hanging out with a rabbit, chilling at the beach, hamming it up for the camera, and even on a date with another alpaca. He even has an email account for any inquiries.

And while it seems Chewy is all fun and games, he has a tendency to spit at people and loves to chew on household items, hence the name. Since Chewy is only two years old, we can only hope to see plenty more of his fun adventures and day-to-day activities with Matt, who is definitely one lucky kid!
