A new Elvis Presley documentary from HBO will cover his life from birth to his final recording sessions.

The two-part, three-hour documentary has the full co-operation of the Presley estate, and according to HBO, will include “unprecedented access to Graceland archives,” never-before-seen photos, footage from inside Presley’s other homes and new interviews with musicians, producers, engineers and directors who worked with The King.

Thom Zimny, who worked previously for HBO on two Bruce Springsteen documentaries, The Ties That Bind and The Promise: The Making of Darkness on the Edge of Town, will direct.

Elvis Presley died in August 1977 at age 42.
