The two-minute video is accompanied with the song, “Wicked Game,” performed by James Vincent McMorrow, as it shifts quickly between heroes and villains and the dire situations facing each before the impending war.
Anticipation for the new season has been exceptionally high this year, as for the first time, the show will surpass the storyline that has been revealed in the books. Author George R. R. Martin reportedly missed his deadline to finish the sixth book, The Winds of Winter, and it will not be published before the start of the new TV season. Game of Thrones season six premieres April 24 on HBO.
