James Franco has signed on to direct a movie adaptation of a Rolling Stone article about a stripper’s wild times in Florida.

David Kushner wrote the piece, “Zola Tells All: The Real Story Behind the Greatest Stripper Saga Ever Tweeted,” after studying Aziah ‘Zola’ Wells’ viral tale of prostitution and murder.

Franco will also produce the movie from a script written by Andrew Neel and Mike Roberts, who worked with the 127 Hours actor on his recent project Goat.

The Rolling Stone article came out in November and delves deep into the 148-tweet tale about Wells’ road trip to Florida.
