Watch Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt Destroy Each Other in a NSFW Game of ‘Playground Insults’
Chris Pratt might be Hollywood’s nicest celebrity, but he held nothing back against Jennifer Lawrence when the co-stars attempted to “out-insult” each other during a recent TV appearance.
The superstar duo gave a BBC Radio 1 interview to promote their upcoming film, Passengers, when they were drawn into a game of “Playground Insults.” The objective, as explained by the host, is that the two would engage in a playful back and forth while trying to keep a straight face until one of them landed a “killer” insult that would end the segment. Pratt and Lawrence, each went for the jugular from the get-go. He went after her films (“Why did they call it Joy?”, “How does it feel being in the stupidest Marvel movie?”) and her acting skills (“I recently told you that you act like Adele sings… I hate Adele.”) For her part, Lawrence jokingly attacked Pratt’s intelligence when she said, “You are so stupid that your 3-year-old son has probably taught you everything you know.” She also went after critical reception to Pratt’s work, deadpanning “Where do you keep your Oscar?” The back and forth came to end when the two exchanged insults relating to a sex scene in the film. Lawrence began “Before our sex scene, I took two Pepto Bismol,” and Pratt responded with a not-safe-for-work barb that has to be heard to be believed. When it was over, it was clear that both actors enjoyed the game for what it was. Passengers is scheduled for release on December 21. Watch an exclusive clip from the film below.
