Jimmy Iovine and Liberty Ross to Wed in February – Report
Music executive Jimmy Iovine and model Liberty Ross are planning to wed next month in Los Angeles, according to a U.S. report. The couple announced the engagement in September after two years together and they are now believed to be plotting a sun-soaked ceremony in L.A. in February, according to the New York Daily News.
Editors at the publication report Liberty will celebrate the impending nuptials with a bridal shower at the end of the month. Ross began dating Iovine after her marriage to filmmaker Rupert Sanders crumbled following his cheating scandal in 2012, when the director was photographed getting close with actress Kristen Stewart, the star of his film Snow White and the Huntsman. The revelations also led to the breakdown of Stewart’s romance with her Twilight co-star Robert Pattinson. However, Ross, who has two children with Sanders, later insisted she was not angry with the young actress following the furor. “God, no. Ugh. People need to learn to forgive. I have no problem with anyone involved. I’m completely compassionate, I really am,” she told Harper’s Bazaar magazine. “No life is perfect. We all have our problems and issues… Rupert and I were together since we were very, very young. I was 18 – essentially, I married my first boyfriend. I always used to say we were more like brother and sister anyway. We’d been together for so long, we weren’t really evolving together as a couple so much… I think we can grow from all experiences, even the most tragic, s**tty ones where you think you’re going to die…”
