Kanye West has surprised his fans by unexpectedly releasing the music video to his new track “Wolves.”
The six-minute long black and white video was made in conjunction with fashion house Balmain, and released on West’s YouTube page on Friday.
The 38-year-old appears in the video, alongside wife Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Balmain’s creative director Olivier Rousteing, and a host of models, including Alessandra Ambrosio, Jourdan Dunn and Joan Smalls.
The track, which features Sia and Vic Mensa, is the latest release from his Life of Pablo album.
Rousteing has been sharing shots from the secret collaboration on Instagram since Wednesday, with the caption “Music meets fashion.”
However, he only began sharing clips from the music video on Friday once West had officially released it.
In the promo, Kardashian is featured crying alongside her husband and the array of supermodels, as the camera zooms in on their upset faces. At one point, models caress the mother-of-two’s face, rubbing her cheek and mouth as she stares into the camera. West then appears behind his wife, with tears also running down his face.
The music video, directed by Steven Klein, ends with the couple walking outside a building to the waiting paparazzi, appearing to model similar outfits to the ones the stars wore to the Met Gala in New York City in May.
West first performed “Wolves” during Saturday Night Live’s 40th anniversary TV special back in February, and made headlines as he laid on the ground while he rapped.
“Iconic moment!!! Kanye SNL,” Kardashian gushed on social media following his performance.
