Katharine McPhee Finalizes Divorce from Music Producer Nick Cokas
According to court documents filed in Los Angeles on Monday and obtained by E! News, McPhee has been ordered to pay her ex-husband $102,616 within the next few days. After that, he will receive spousal support of up to $400,000 a year, or a pro-rated $33,333 a month on a sliding scale. The documents also detail the split of the former couple’s assets. McPhee will keep all the furniture, artwork, and personal effects, including a Mercedes SUV. She will also keep certain music and TV rights, various bank accounts and insurance policies. As for Cokas, he will keep his Jeep Wrangler and get an unknown percentage of McPhee’s music royalties. McPhee filed for divorce seven months after she was caught kissing her Smash director Michael Morris, who is married to former West Wing actress Mary McCormack. Morris and McCormack, who have three daughters together, reconciled in mid-2014.
