Lady Gaga & Tony Bennett Turn Wedding Singers for Jimmy Iovine
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett created the perfect vibe at music mogul Jimmy Iovine’s Valentine’s Day wedding party on Sunday by performing jazz standards at the bash. The 62-year-old Interscope boss and model Liberty Ross hosted a blessing on the beach in Malibu, California, on Saturday and then exchanged vows at a star-studded ceremony at pal David Geffen’s Beverly Hills estate.
Celebrities like Tom Hanks, Pharrell Williams, and Oprah Winfrey were in attendance as Iovine’s top acts entertained the crowd. And stealing the show was Lady Gaga and Bennett, who turned wedding singers and crooned jazz classic, “It Don’t Mean a Thing,” for the newlyweds. Mary J. Blige and Alicia Keys’ hitmaker husband Swizz Beatz also performed, according to TMZ sources. Meanwhile, all the guests were asked to wear red to the party, in honor of the most romantic day of the year. Gaga no doubt took notes as she is currently planning her wedding to fiance Taylor Kinney, a year after the actor asked the “Poker Face” singer to be his wife. The couple has yet to set a date for its nuptials.
