During Disability Awareness Day at Fenway Park, one singer learned that sometimes stage fright has a mind of its own. The singer, who has autism, started singing the national anthem without any problem. However, about 40 seconds into the tune he got a case of the giggles and couldn’t get them to go away.
The audience was quick to notice the laughing and joined in with him. Shortly after, they began to cheer him on and encourage him to finish singing the song. However, out of nowhere something amazing began to happen, causing a very memorable moment. One at a time the audience members started to join the man in singing the anthem. It quickly got louder and louder until the entire stadium was singing in unison. Thanks to the boost of confidence from the audience, the man had the drive and determination to finish the song.
