Miranda Kerr & Orlando Bloom Agreed to Wait Six Months to Introduce Son to New Lovers
“(We decided) that we had to know the person for six months and feel good about them (before introducing them to Flynn),” the 32-year-old model told Net-a-Porter’s weekly digital magazine The EDIT, revealing her son has met her latest love, Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. “Evan met Flynn, so yeah, things are going well,” Kerr added. “Orlando thinks he’s great. We’re just a modern family now!” And it’s clear Kerr is smitten with her new man, who is seven years younger than she is, but has a middle-aged soul. “He’s 25, but he acts like he’s 50,” she chuckled. “He’s not out partying. He goes to work in Venice (California), he comes home. We don’t go out. We’d rather be at home and have dinner, go to bed early. (But) in some ways he does (feel like a younger man). I’m telling you, I’ve got the best of both worlds.” The model hasn’t always been so lucky in love. As well as her failed marriage to Lord of the Rings star Bloom, she lost her first love, Christopher Middlebrook, in a car accident. “I was 16, and it was really a turning point,” Kerr shared. “I was depressed and went to a few therapists, but then I realized the only person who could help me was myself.” The Aussie pin-up has also dated finance broker Adrian Camilleri and musician Jay Lyon.
