Quentin Tarantino Makes His Mark on Hollywood at Hand and Footprint Ceremony
Quentin Tarantino braved a downpour in Los Angeles on Tuesday to make his mark on Hollywood Boulevard. The moviemaker got down on his knees to leave imprints of his hands and feet in cement at Hollywood’s historic TCL Chinese Theater.
“I wanted to put my hands and footprints in the Grauman’s Chinese courtyard way before I ever had a career, so this is something I wanted to do my whole life,” Tarantino told fans. Actor Christoph Waltz, who appeared in Tarantino’s Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained, were among those who saluted the director at the ceremony, which came less than a month after the filmmaker unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
