Sharon Stone sues over home construction disaster
The Casino star, 57, hired bosses at Zuma Canyon Construction in 2013 to carry out a major remodel of her property, including giving makeovers to her master bedroom and bathroom, kitchen and powder room.
The renovation was estimated to cost a total of $225,000 , but Stone has accused the contractor of messing up the work. In legal papers obtained by TMZ.com, Stone claims the controls for her heated floors were installed in the shower, exposing them to water intrusion, while there was also a hole in the floor of the shower itself, which caused serious leaks. She goes on to allege Zuma Canyon Construction chiefs failed to even obtain the required city permits for the work, and now she is demanding unspecified damages from them and other sub-contractors. The defendants have yet to comment on the lawsuit.
