Vin Diesel Lands TV Producing Deal
Action man Vin Diesel has signed a producing deal with bosses at Universal Television and is developing a TV series based on his hit film The Chronicles of Riddick. The Fast and Furious star and his company, One Race Productions, landed the multi-year deal, which entails developing small screen programs for the studio.
Among the first offerings will be a series complement to Diesel’s blockbuster sci-fi franchise, Riddick. The series has spawned two feature films, with a rumored third in the works. Diesel founded One Race Productions in 1995, and along with Universal, has produced the four highest-grossing films in the Fast and Furious franchise – Furious 7, Fast and Furious 6, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious.
