Watch the Unlikely Love Blossom Between a Dog and a Koi Fish
Meet Frank and Daisy, an unlikely pair proving opposites really do attract.
Daisy, an 8-year-old French bulldog, quickly developed a budding relationship with a koi fish named Frank. The pair couldn’t seem to keep their fins and paws off of each other, proving love at first sight does exist!
Both of the animals belong to Carrie Bredy, who also has two other bulldogs named Tomato and Walter.
The pair met last summer after Bredy brought home the chago koi carp fish to put in her fish pond. The fish are known for being friendly, so she hoped that “Frank’s introduction would help the other fish socialize.”
The video was quick to go viral after being posted to Instagram.
“Daisy and Frank have a very, very special relationship. It still amazes me… she ignores the other fish, and waits for him,” Bredy explained.
