Wes Scantlin Arrested Again for DUI
Wes Scantlin was pulled over for speeding by police in South Dakota early on Wednesday morning, August 5, 2015.
Law enforcement officials tell TMZ officers determined Scantlin was driving under the influence, but it is unclear if he failed a breathalyser or field sobriety test, or both. In addition to the DUI, Scantlin was charged with marijuana possession. He was released from jail after posting $500 bail, and is still scheduled to perform on Wednesday night as part of the annual Sturgis motorcycle rally. The news comes days after Scantlin was busted in Minnesota on July 26, 2015 for allegedly driving while impaired, and earlier this year, he fell foul of airport police in Denver, Colorado after allegedly taking a “joy ride” on a baggage carousel. Scantlin failed to appear in court to answer the misdemeanor trespassing charge and was arrested in Milwaukee in April 2015 in relation to the court no-show. A second arrest notice was issued in May 2015 after skipping another court date in Denver, where he is also wanted on an outstanding warrant from 2006 for speeding and driving without a license.
