A shooting in Pennsylvania has left one police officer dead and another wounded after they responded to the scene on a domestic dispute call.
Around 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, officers Scott Leslie Bashioum and James Saieva arrived in Canonsburg neighborhood to address a domestic dispute when they were immediately shot at by Michael Cwiklinski.
Bashioum, 52 years old and from Washington, was fatally shot soon after the shooting started and pronounced dead at a nearby hospital and Saieva, from Houston, TX, was hit in the stomach.
Saieva is in stable condition at a hospital in Pittsburgh after surgery and is believed to be okay.
A police procession was held Thursday morning and Gov. Tom Wolf ordered flags across the state to be flown at half staff in honor of Bashioum.
As for Cwiklinski, he shot himself dead inside the house after also shooting Dalia Sabae, who was six months pregnant and had a Protection From Abuse against the suspect.
