Jaleel White played Steve Urkel, everyone's favorite nerd, on Family Matters from 1989-98. What you might not know about White, though, is that he voiced Sonic the Hedgehog in animated shows Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic SatAM, and Sonic Underground.

Yes, that's correct. Steve Urkel voiced Sonic the Hedgehog. We're proud to say that that's the single-most '90s sentence anybody has ever written.

After Family Matters wrapped, White starred in UPN's Grown Ups, which lasted just one season.

White has stayed busy in recent years, but mostly as a guest star on television. He appeared on such shows as Boston Legal, House, and Psych, and had a small role in the 2006 film Dreamgirls. He appeared in season 14 of Dancing with the Stars in 2012, and later that year hosted Total Blackout, a game show on the Syfy channel.
