This Two-Legged Rescue Cat Is Not Letting Anything Get in His Way

Meet Able, a two-legged rescue cat who is living his life to the fullest.
About four years ago in Thailand, Able fell off a roof while chasing some birds and landed hard on an electrical transformer. The fall caused great damage to his two front legs and tail, resulting in an amputation.
Without his two front legs, Able was looking at a long road to recovery. However, the cat managed to learn to walk again using his forehead to prop himself up in a standing position.
After the surgery, no one came to help the cat heal and he was left as an alley cat. Luckily, an anonymous friend saw Able roaming around her neighborhood and came to his recuse.
“The first time I saw Able, I felt such energy and inspiration to live my life,” Able’s owner said to Coconuts Bangkok. “He’s a very strong cat, indeed.”
The two-legged rescue cat is now in good hands and walking around again. The cat props himself up and walks on his two hind legs, kind of resembling a Tyrannosaurus rex or a kangaroo.

“Everyone is very interested to know how Able can walk, especially up and down the stairs, and also what he does every day,” his owner told BuzzFeed.
Able is just like a regular cat and loves hanging out with his adopted sister, Fifi, who also struggles with using her legs.
“He is a nice kitty, although he’s a bit whiny,” Able’s owner told Coconuts Bangkok. “He likes to play with children and will stare into your eyes to get what he wants.”
Able’s owner has created a Facebook and Instagram page for the cat, hoping to inspire others with his story.
