Artist Dan Hipp, a director on Cartoon Network’s Teen Titans Go from DC Comics, has taken two of Disney’s most successful 2015 films and combined them into a mash-up that will melt your heart.

Hipp has taken Kylo Ren, the villain from last year’s undisputed box office champion Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens, and taken us inside the character’s mind in the style of the latest Pixar smash Inside Out with an art piece entitled “I’m Being Torn Apart.”

The piece features a side profile of Ren, surrounded by “Star Wars-ized” versions of the five core emotion characters from Inside Out, namely Princess Leia as Joy, Han Solo as Disgust, Darth Vader as Anger, Luke Skywalker as Fear, and Obi Wan Kenobi as Sadness.

The piece ups the emotional ante further by having Kylo Ren lose one of his “core memories” (a major plot point of the Pixar film), an endearing moment captured in the yellow sphere between (SPOILER) a young Kylo Ren and his father Han Solo, before Ren turned to the Dark Side.

Hipp’s Tumblr page contains numerous other works depicting various characters in the same cute, chibi style.

Staying within the Star Wars universe, the artist has a piece entitled “Force Hugs” that details four separate hugs (Finn and Poe Dameron, Rey and Finn, Han Solo and Princess Leia, and finally Leia and Rey) depicting various emotional scenes from the film.

Broadening beyond the “galaxy far far away,” Hipp has another piece displaying one of 2016’s most hotly anticipated films: Captain America: Civil War. Entitled “But He’s My Friend,” the print displays a happy Captain America hugging The Winter Soldier, while a crestfallen Iron Man clutches his Avengers action figures.
