Bear Breaks Into Home and Goes for a Swim Because Lordy It’s Hot Out There
It’s no question that the world has been experiencing some of the hottest temperatures ever recorded. Not only does the heat affect humans, but it also affects animals. That’s why one bear took it upon himself to use an Arcadia, California, resident’s pool in order to cool down.
A video of the bear swimming in the pool was taken by the homeowner whom ABC News reports stayed safely inside while the bear had his relaxing dip in the pool.
“A resident shared this video with us of a bear cooling off in the family pool this morning,” the police department wrote on Facebook. “This serves as a great reminder we live in a foothill community, and we live with wildlife.”
They also shared tips for staying safe and dealing with wildlife.
As for the bear, hopefully he got the much needed relief from the weather that he deserved.
