How to Build an Adorable DIY Fairy Garden

Whether you’re a child or an adult, the idea of fairies is still a fascinating one and gardens are often depicted as their refuge. Even if you’re a bit too old to believe in fairies, you can still connect with your inner child or child at home by creating a super cute miniature fairy garden!

YouTuber AkameruKawaii gives us the tutorial and it’s great for a rainy day activity or to bring some enchantment into your home.

The tutorial begins with the main home that will be the fairy’s abode. For this part, all that’s required is a small flower pot and some clay. Carefully draw the shape of the door on the pot and use the clay to form a door. Make sure you have sculpting tools handy.

You’ll adhere the clay with a special sculpting glue and then bake the clay on the pot. You can also paint the door to give it a more realistic look.

Next comes the wire bench. All you have to do is bend some copper wire in a pretty formation for the frame and use a thinner wire to wrap the pieces together.

The tutorial uses small sticks for the seat, but you can customize it to your liking.

Once you have the house and the bench done, the next step is assembling the actual garden. You’ll need a tray or large pot to house the plants you pick and, of course, soil to plant them in.

After the soil is added, put the house in first and then build the rest of the garden around that. Now, all you have to do is add the plants in any arrangement you want as well as any other features that will make it look cute, such as a stone path or a pond.
