“I’m just a kid from Brooklyn.” Those were the humble words of Steve Rogers/Captain America in Captain America: The First Avenger. Now, Steve Rogers is coming back home.

On Wednesday, a 13-foot-tall statue of the comic book hero was unveiled in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park to celebrate the 75th Anniversary of the character. The statue, emblazoned with the “Brooklyn kid” quote, shows Rogers standing triumphantly with his iconic shield raised above his head.

To help commemorate the unveiling, park-goers can catch a special presentation of the Avenger’s latest Marvel film, Captain America: Civil War on Wednesday night.

The statue was unveiled at San Diego Comic Con in July and has since been making its way across the country.

CBS New York reports the statue will be on display in Prospect Park for two weeks and then will move to the Barclays Center in September. In October, the statue will go to the new Bed Bath & Beyond, which is set to open in the borough’s Sunset Park neighborhood.
