Chris Hemsworth Proves He’s a Superhero at Home by Baking Daughter’s BDay Cake
If he be worthy, he shall possess the power of Thor (in the kitchen).
We know Chris Hemsworth is a hero on the big screen, but the Avengers actor is proving he’s a hero in fatherhood after a sweet photo of the movie star baking a cake went viral this weekend.
In an image posted by the actor to his Facebook page, Hemsworth said that the bakery couldn’t make the cake that he wanted for his daughter’s birthday, so he did what any Asgardian God would do: He baked the cake himself.
From Facebook:
“What happens when the bakery says they don’t have time to make your daughter a birthday cake? You get involved and smash one out yourself! I call it ‘La TRex al la chocolate.'”
Fans of the actor were quick to point out his fatherly heroics.
While Hemsworth posted a photo of the finished product, wife Elsa Pataky posted an image of the actor “working hard” as he mixed up the batter.
Being a hero onscreen takes talent, but it turns out being a hero at home just takes a little love (and maybe a teaspoon of vanilla extract).
