Corgi Failing to Jump on Couch Is All of Us Just Trying to Get to the Weekend

You ever have one of those weeks where it just seems to drag on and on and you’re thinking, “Jeez, I’m glad tomorrow’s Friday,” when in reality it’s still just Tuesday? Yeah, us too. For one corgi, his recent viral video captures that essence in spades.

In a video titled, “Just trying to get through the work week like,” shared on YouTube from user Lauren Nicole, she shows her stubby-legged corgi experiencing the raw emotion that comes with such a feeling.

In the slow-motion capture, the corgi makes a valiant leap onto the couch seemingly without issue. This is that joyous feeling of Friday being oh-so close. But then the realization that it’s only Tuesday hits and suddenly you discover your back legs never made it on the couch; you slip and begin to fall, fall back into the clutches of the early work week and the pain of it all strikes at your very soul.
