Cow Breaks Into Family’s Home Because the Living Room Rug Is Much More Comfortable
Beryl is one spoiled cow.
Australian ranch owner Sally Webster was shocked to see that her 8-month-old cow broke into the house and waited for her to come home from food shopping.
In an interview with The Dodo, Webster stated, “She just likes to try and get in when she sees an open door.”
“She has an amazing memory and is very smart, so she knows where the calf milk lives in the laundry. The day she was caught in the lounge took me by surprise. I really didn’t expect to see her making herself comfortable sitting on the carpet,” Webster went on to continue.
The cow, who apparently went in the house because the door was open, didn’t cause a mess or break any items.
When Beryl was two months old, her mother died from complications of birth. Playing the role of mom, Webster took in Beryl and started to bottle feed the young cow. She raised the cow indoors until she was big enough to live and graze outside.
Beryl grew up with Fred and Wilma, the family dogs. They’ve become really close over the years.
The dogs love to cuddle and lick Beryl, Webster said.
Besides the dogs, Beryl also enjoys a cuddle with her human owner.
They are one big happy family! If you want to check out more of Beryl’s adventures, click here.
