In the Taken movie franchise, there is a now-iconic scene in which star Liam Neeson makes a harrowing threat to the captors on the other line. There have been memes aplenty of this threat, but instead of making fun of it, one man decided to use it to his advantage.
All parents have been annoyed by their kids’ strange inability to maintain a sense of cleanliness, and Redditor Labuzan is no different. This dad has seemingly been overwhelmed by his teenagers and their lack of dishwasher use, and so decided to bring out the big guns. He put up a post titled “My teenagers refuse to put their dishes in the dishwasher. So I put this above the sink.”
The note reads “I don’t know who you are. I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don’t do that. But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me a an expert in home WiFi systems and Cellular Data plans. If you clean up your own kitchen mess, that’ll be the end of it. I will not look for you. I will not pursue you. But if you don’t, I will look for you. I will find you. AND I WILL DISCONNECT YOU.”
Threatening teens with a lack of internet is a great move by a savvy dad, but just in case people thought his kids were villainous animals, he dropped this comment to highlight the reality of the situation *foul language*:
“Actually, my kids have their shit together. My oldest graduated high school a semester early and then got a 30 hour a week job to save money for college. My youngest has a 3.95 GPA in all IB classes and picked up a summer job for 30 hours a week. With it comes to the ‘big rocks’ in life, they are squared away.
“They’re just fucking slobs.”
Well put, sir.
