David Tennant Lands Role as Scrooge McDuck

Former Doctor Who star David Tennant has signed on to give Scrooge McDuck a voice in the new DuckTales reboot.

The Scottish star will play Huey, Dewey and Louie’s wealthy uncle in Disney’s new version of the 1980s animated series.

Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz and Bobby Moynihan will play the mischievous trio.

The original DuckTales aired from 1987 to 1990. The new series will debut next summer.
