Mother of Two Boys Freaks Out When She Learns She’s Having a Girl

After giving birth to two boys, this mom from Kansas City thought history was going to repeat itself.

When fashion blogger Egreis Gjergjani and her husband Jeremy found out they were going to have a third child, they thought they would have another boy. However, Gjergjani got the shock of her life when she cut into the gender reveal cake.

In the video, Gjergjani’s husband hands her a piece of the cake, which shows pink frosting. Before Gjergjani could even take a peak at the cake, the room erupted in cheers.

The video on Instagram quickly went viral with over 759,000 views.

“Since I’ve had two boys so far, I genuinely did not think I would have a girl,” Gjergjani told the Huffington Post. “I even started a children’s couture line, Itty Bitty Toes, that specializes in handmade dresses for little girls. It was my way of experiencing what having a little girl would be like.”

Along with the reaction video, Gjergjani shared some footage showing how suspenseful the reveal really was.

Gjergjani thought she was going to learn about the sex of the baby with a balloon reveal. However, her best friend thought it would be funny to play a little prank and bring both pink and blue balloons. Watch it below.

After the fake reveal, Gjergjani was a ball of nerves.

Overall, Gjergjani was thrilled to learn about her new baby girl.

“To be able to carry a child is a blessing,” Gjergjani told the Huffington Post. “That initial discovery of your child’s gender is an amazing feeling. It doesn’t matter if it is boy or girl, just that initial moment of knowing what you’re going to have makes it all so real.”
