Sometimes being left behind isn’t so bad. Just ask the stuffed bunny who was forgotten at the Adare Manor Hotel near Limerick, Ireland, and subsequently received the pampering of a lifetime before being reunited with her young owner, Kate.

According to the hotel’s Facebook page, on January 2, a stuffed bunny, “Jellycat,” was left at the hotel by a family who had stayed the weekend. To try and track down the owner, the hotel posted an image of Jellycat alone in a chair. Taking the imagined voice of the stuffed animal, the hotel wrote, “I lost my owner at breakfast in Adare Manor.” A “crying” emoji was alongside the statement.

While the hotel was reaching out to guests who had recently stayed, Jellycat received some VIP treatment at the hands of the staff, in what has turned out to be a brilliant marketing stunt for the luxury resort. Images of Jellycat “having fun” and getting a “massage” were posted to Facebook, where users liked and shared the images across social media.

Jellycat had a little R&R on the pool deck.

Jellycat also sat down with Claire, the concierge at the hotel, as she tried to track down the owner.

“Having fun at Adare Manor,” said Jellycat.

But with one more night to go, might as well enjoy your time, right? Maybe Jellycat was getting a little too comfortable?

Jellycat’s owner is young Kate Hogan, and was the first teddy she received three and a half years ago.

“I was so lonely going to sleep last night, but I now know he had the best time. I’m so excited to have Jellycat back in my arms. Thank you again Adare Manor. Give him a hug tonight from Kate.”

Of course, before Jellycat was reunited with his owners, he had time to fit in one last massage from “lovely Kate in the treatment rooms.”

Just enough time for a massage from lovely Kate in the treatment rooms before I go home. It’s been a wonderful holiday but I can’t wait to see my owners again!

Even though Jellycat had a great time at Adare Manor, he was happy to finally get home to his own bed.
