This Grandfather Bought His 5-Month-Old Granddaughter a Crazy Giant Teddy Bear

One grandfather from California is giving a whole new meaning to life-sized toys.

After Sabrina Gonzalez’s father posted a photo of him on Facebook in front of a shipment of giant teddy bears, she commented and joked around that her 5-month-old daughter needed one.

However, her father, who works at Costco, decided to take her up on her request thinking it would be the perfect gift for his granddaughter, Madeline Jane.

“Next thing I know, I receive a text from him saying he bought her one,” Gonzalez told BuzzFeed News. “I couldn’t believe it!”

Talk about teddy bear heaven!

Both Gonzalez’s house and Maddie are a little small for the bear, so it is currently being kept at Gonzalez’s parents’ house.

“The teddy bear is so big, it’s still at my parents’ house. Their house is huge, so it fits in perfectly,” Gonzalez shared with Today. “When she’s a little older we will bring it to my place, maybe around Christmas.”
