There are heroes, and then there is this group of individuals from Alexandria, Egypt.
According to reports, a dog, named Rook, became trapped between the bumpers of the Alexandrian shore for a month. People would come by to feed the dog and give it water, but nobody could reach the animal. That is, until a few days ago.
It was then that a group of five Alexandrians took it upon themselves to help. After learning about the animal’s predicament, they interchanged shifts, providing food and water for the dog until they finally found the assistance they needed to free her.
They worked tirelessly for five days and nights until Rook was finally free to take a snapshot with her rescuers.

If Rook could speak, you know she’d be thankful (though that adorable face says it all!).
