This Guy Traveling the World Creates Clever Instagram Posts to Let His Mom Know He’s Fine
Mom’s worry. So, sometimes you just have to let your mom know you are fine. Just ask Jonathan Quiñonez.
Quiñonez has taken a well-deserved vacation to travel the world. However, even at the age of 27, Quiñonez still has to reassure his mom that he is safe and sound.
“Whatever your age is, if you have a Latin mom and a passion for adventure, you will have to find a way to tell her that you are fine. This is my way,” Quiñonez explained.

Quiñonez quit his part-time modeling and consultant job in Brussels so he could travel the world. Before leaving, he sold most of his possessions including his car so he could have a trip of a lifetime.
Quiñonez choose to go to Cuba first to see it “before it changed,” shared ABC News. However, after his arrival he soon realized it would be hard to keep in touch with his friends and family due to limited internet access.

Luckily, Quiñonez used his creativity to assure his nervous mother that he was safe by posting a picture of him on Instagram holding up a sign saying, “Mom, I’m fine.” Since then, Quiñonez has been holding up the sign at every destination he travels to reassuring his mother that he is having a great time.

Quiñonez’s account quickly took off and went viral. During the course of his travels he has gained over 175K followers letting everyone know that he is fine!
