The upcoming movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them

Do you believe in magic? You’ll believe it when you see the upcoming film trilogy Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. Based on the book of the same name, Fantastic Beasts is a companion book to J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Rowling is expected to make her screen writing debut with this film. And David Heyman, who produced the Harry Potter films, will serve as producer.

According to Rowling, the film takes place 70 years before Harry Potter and will focus on the adventures of Newton (Newt) Scamander in New York’s secret community of wizards and witches. Newt, who had been doing research on magical creatures since 1918, finally completes his research with a publication on the topic in 1927.
