HBO Releases First Look At ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6

On Thursday, HBO released our first look at the upcoming season of its smash hit, Game of Thrones.

The video was first uploaded to the Game of Thrones YouTube page. Watch it below.

The voiceover is of the Three-Eyed Raven, saying, “We watch, we listen, and we remember. The past is already written. The ink is dry.” The video then cuts to a montage of some of the biggest moments (and deaths) from the first five seasons, before a final shot of Bran Stark. The boy says, “They have no idea what’s going to happen.”

The final line is a clever nod to fans of both the books and show, as Season 5 left off at approximately the same spot where the last published book ended. While there’s nothing new to sink their teeth in to here, the tease will undoubtedly excite fans across the country.

Game of Thrones season six will premiere in April only on HBO.
