This Is Why You Hire Professional Tree Cutters

Don’t try this at home. Or anywhere, really.

In the cringe-worthy hilarious video below, a man films his neighbor getting set to cut the top portion of a tree down. The situation looks precarious enough from the cameraman’s vantage point: tree leaning to the left; ladder placed against the trunk; neighbor ascending the ladder with chainsaw in hand. He then revs up the chainsaw and you can see the tree moving just slightly more to the left. But he keeps going. He keeps cutting and the inevitable happens.

According to the cameraman, “Strangely, it was silent after the crash. A couple weeks later my wife saw him with a cast on his leg. I guess he should’ve hired someone.”
