Horrible Wedding Proposal Prank Goes Predictably Wrong

We all love a good proposal video. This one had all the right elements: a girl sitting nonchalantly on the couch; a guy filming her and then the small box he holds in hand; cut to her, cut to the box, cut back to her, and then the big question.

The only problem is that this is a fake proposal video. Not fake in the sense that both parties are aware of what is happening, but fake in that one person’s feelings are being toyed with.

In the video from Brad’s Dad, a man gets down on one knee, holds open a wedding ring box, and then asks his girlfriend if she would…get him a cup of tea. Um, what?!

The video was posted to Brad’s Dad Facebook page and has since been viewed over 11 million times.

The woman, obviously upset, throws the box to the floor before storming out of the room. The video is somewhat amusing before you realize multiple fights and a breakup probably ensued. Happy Valentine’s Day?
