Jason Pierre-Paul’s Hand Is Seriously Messed Up

After a July 4th fireworks incident, many questioned whether the New York Giants’ star defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul would ever play football again. Pierre-Paul has remained adamant that he can still perform at the same level as before, but the extent of his injuries were unknown.

Until today.

The New York Daily News revealed exclusive images of Pierre-Paul’s hand and the damage is much worse than previously thought.

The exclusive images show Pierre-Paul’s right hand is missing its index finger, most of the thumb, and half of the middle finger.

Pierre-Paul maintains he can still play the game, even sending out this tweet yesterday.

Umm, we’re not really sure that hand is going to be gripping on quarterbacks the same way it used to.

Pierre-Paul reportedly injured the hand while attending a July 4th party and igniting a firework in his hand.
