Jimmy Iovine and Liberty Ross Wed at Star-Studded Valentine’s Day Ceremony
Jimmy Iovine and Liberty Ross married in a Valentine’s Day ceremony on Sunday.
The 62-year-old music mogul and his 37-year-old model partner tied the knot at David Geffen’s Beverly Hills estate in front of 300 guests with all the women asked to wear red to mark the romantic occasion.
Celebrity guests included Tom Hanks, Pharrell Williams and Oprah Winfrey, who shared a picture of herself in a red dress standing alongside her longtime partner Stedman Graham.
“Stepping out with my Valentine of almost 30 yrs! #iovinewedding,” she captioned the photo.
Pharrell’s other half, wife Helen Lasichanh, was also dressed in red with the “Happy” singer treating fans to a picture of the couple ahead of the event.
Iovine’s sons also got into the Valentine’s Day spirit of the occasion, with Iovine wearing a red suit and his brother Jeremy opting for a scarlet tie with his black suit.
According to People magazine, guests were taken to the wedding venue by private driver where they then watched the happy couple exchange vows.
Prior to the ceremony, the pair marked their nuptials by hosting a blessing ceremony at their beachside home in Malibu, California, on Saturday.
The couple was joined by around 50 family members and friends for the pre-wedding event, during which the stars hired a skywriter to etch out their initials in the clear blue skies.
However, the pilot’s first effort went awry as he initially spelled out J (heart) M. He quickly corrected the error by successfully spelling out J (heart) L on his second attempt, reports TMZ.
Iovine and Liberty announced their engagement in September after two years of dating.
Both the bride and groom have been married before. Ross famously hit headlines after her first husband, director Rupert Sanders, was caught kissing his Snow White and the Huntsman star Kristen Stewart in 2012.
The former couple shares two children, while Iovine has four kids with his ex-wife, former model and writer Vicki McCarty Iovine who he split from in 2009.
