Man Turns Pair of Ruined Heels into Work of Art

And the award for best boyfriend goes to…Imgur user Alan Padzinski!

One fateful day, his girlfriend found her $500 Kurt Geiger stilettos chewed to death by their dog, Caliph.

“A wailing cry brought me from my workshop. A quick assessment of the situation told me, that things were not good,” he wrote on the photo sharing site.

“Oh doge, what have your teeth wrought…,” he continued.

Alas, all was not lost, for Padzinski is actually a talented blacksmith and went right to work to fix his girlfriend’s shoes. He first fixed the hole with a leather patch, but they still looked pretty rough.

So, he decided to go a little outside the box and give the heels a shiny, new bada$$ look. For this, he used a stainless steel plate to cover the damaged area.

He also added some sweet brass embellishments.

The finished product looks fit for a warrior princess and like something that could easily be turned into a weapon. He did note that the pointy part on the back could be easily removed and placed back if need be.

These are hands-down the coolest shoes I’ve ever seen, and others think so too. People are already requesting he do the same for their shoes.

Perhaps we’ll see Padzinski-styled shoes on the runway someday.
