Whelchel might be best known these days for the 2009 season of CBS’ reality competition Survivor, in which she was the runner up. But long before that, Whelchel spent nine years playing Blair Warner on The Facts of Life after appearing in the second iteration of The Mickey Mouse Club in 1976. She also earned a Grammy nomination for her album “All Because of You.”
