NASCAR’s Danica Patrick Goes Undercover as Lyft Driver, Entertains Clueless Passengers

The next time you ride in a Lyft car, pay close attention to the driver’s face. It could be someone famous.

Case in point: NASCAR racer Danica Patrick recently went undercover as a Lyft driver and chatted with passengers. During her conversations, she seems to be dropping hints as to who she is, but her passengers remain blissfully unaware of her true identity. One woman was even thoroughly impressed with the way Patrick was driving in the streets of Charlotte, North Carolina, but still failed to put two and two together.

When the ride was over, many of the passengers were shocked to find out that it was the 33-year-old race car driver.

Patrick is not the first athlete to go undercover as a Lyft driver. Chicago Cubs third baseman Kris Bryant and NFL Hall of Famer Jerry Rice have also taken on the gig in the past.
