New ‘Star Wars’ Film Title Officially Revealed

Director Rian Johnson’s follow-up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens will be called The Last Jedi.
The sequel, which hits cinemas in December, will feature Mark Hamill reprising his iconic role as Luke Skywalker and the late Carrie Fisher, who completed her scenes as General Leia Organa before her sudden death last month.
Adam Driver, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Lupita Nyong’o, Domhnall Gleeson, and Anthony Daniels will also be back for more Star Wars. They’ll be joined by newcomers Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern.
