Oreo Debuts New ‘Cupcake-Filled’ Flavor

Oreo is trying to put every flavor known to man in its famous black and white confection.

The cookie giant launched a new limited-run experiment called “The Filled Cupcake Oreo.” Inspired by the Hostess chocolate cupcake, the newest creation consists of a small vanilla circle surrounded by more chocolate fudge. Many Oreo lovers had a chance to taste the new creation and stated that it tasted like the all-chocolate Oreos that was released years ago. More vanilla, please.

The limited-edition flavor will be released in stores on February 8th.

The company also announced on Tuesday that it has opened a “Oreo Wonder Vault” in New York City. Located between 18th street and 7th and 8th Avenues, passers-by received brand-new Filled Cupcake Oreos a full six days before its release date.

Let us hope that Oreo will be coming out with a banana puddling flavor of the cookie in the coming years.
