Pair of Rescue Dogs Wouldn’t Stop Cuddling in the Shelter Until They Were Adopted Together

Because “ohana” means family and family means no one gets left behind. Right, Lilo and Stitch?

A pair of pups lost their home but stayed real close together at the animal shelter until the two were finally adopted – together!

After their owners had a baby and found out the newborn was allergic to the poor doggies, both were put up for adoption.

Sad over their loss and scared of what comes next, the dogs – one big and hairy, the other small and shorthaired – cuddled their lonely days away in the shelter.

Fortunately, thanks to the Animal Rescue League of Iowa, they were both adopted and their new home featured two other dogs for them to play with and even three pet pigs.
