This Paralympian Wins at Halloween With Yet Another Awesome Costume

Josh Sundquist is a paralympian athlete who competed in the 2006 Paralympics in Turin, Italy, as a member of the United States Ski Team and is a current member of the U.S. Amputee Soccer team. Aside from his athletic accomplishments, Sundquist, who lost his left leg to cancer as a child, is also an established, undisputed winner of Halloween.

His latest fantastic creation? None other than Beauty and the Beast‘s own Lumiere, the three-pronged candlestick who helps Belle get acclimated with the Beast.

“He’s Disney’s most famous monopod (well, other than Ariel),” Sundquist said on his blog. Being a monopod himself, the match turned out fantastic.

Sundquist is no stranger to amazing costumes, as each year on Halloween he brings to life another monopodial creation that goes viral:

A gingerbread man with one leg eaten off, the leg lamp from A Christmas Story, a flamingo, an IHOP sign, and a foosball player have been the creative costumes Sundquist has brought out since 2010. And this year, he has suggested pairing Lumiere with crazy old Maurice, wondering if a certain senator would join him in collaborating:
