Photo Of Suspected ‘Jersey Devil’ Definitive Proof Jersey Is Actual Hellhole
A man driving near Galloway, N.J. says he has photographic evidence that the famed “Jersey Devil” is alive and real.
Dave Black, of Little Egg Harbor Township, was driving down Route 9 past a golf course in Galloway when he spotted the “monster,” Black told NJ.com.
Black quickly stopped and snapped several images of the creature, but only one (of course) clearly showed the fabled Jersey Devil that has been described in tall tales for centuries.
The photo apparently shows a creature with dark, brown fur, horns, wings on its back, and cloven feet. Whether it’s real, or a hoax, is yet to be determined.
Black insists his photograph was not “photoshopped or a staged thing.”
“People have said it’s fake, but it’s not. I’m honestly just looking for an explanation for what I saw.”
Stories of the existence of the Jersey Devil date back as far as the 1700’s, but there has never been scientific proof of its existence. There is, however, plenty of scientific proof New Jersey is still a hellish nightmare. Sorry, Jersey. It’s a love/hate thing.
